Social trade network IndustryHuddle.com is incorporating professional profiles, resumes, news feeds, and more as part of IndustryHuddle 2.0.
Cincinnati, OH – Social trade network Industry Huddle is expanding its website to incorporate new features including profiles for individual professionals, new communication options, as well as overall improvements to the user experience. Utilizing these new features, the site will not only allow professionals to network within their affiliated industries but also provide options for students and job seekers to network with companies and professionals that match their interests. This addition will also incorporate LinkedIn connectivity for quick importing of personal details, work experience, and more.
Another new feature will be My HuddlePost, a feed of content from all companies and professionals that the user has a huddled relationship with, allowing constant notification of news, deals, and more. With each post, users will have the option to target huddled professionals, companies, or both.
Along with all of these changes, IndustryHuddle.com will improve on previous functionality through design and navigational improvements to company profiles, HuddleSavings, and company online stores. The changes follow a large recent capital investment into the company by an independent investor. A hard launch can be expected at the end of August, 2013.
IndustryHuddle.com currently offers many functions that will continue to be offered to members in version 2.0. These include industry-specific business and operational savings, online sales tools, the ability to request catalogues, production samples, and the request for quote (RFQ) feature. Users can use these options to generate new leads on contracts, host online stores, increase profits through savings, and share company news and events with relevant persons and entities. The site currently has nearly 500 (and growing) active companies in more than 40 industries which can be viewed by signing up and joining a huddle at IndustryHuddle.com. “If you’re not on IndustryHuddle.com, your competitor is.” said Zachary Haines, President and CEO.
