Material handling equipment and automation distributor Wolter Inc. has acquired fellow suburban Milwaukee company Flatley Dock Systems, company officials announced.
Flatley, located in West Bend, Wisconsin, provides loading dock equipment, high-speed doors, commercial overhead doors and related services to customers across the Milwaukee and Chicago markets.
Wolter officials said that the deal would broaden its expertise in dock and door systems, as well as provide opportunities for “more complete facility solutions,” including forklifts, warehouse storage systems and fleet management tools.
The transaction officially closed Sept. 1. Financial terms were not disclosed.
“Flatley has earned the trust of its customers by responding quickly, doing quality work and building relationships that last,” Wolter CEO Jerry Weidmann said in a statement. “Bringing that team and expertise into Wolter strengthens our ability to support customers throughout the Milwaukee and Chicago markets.”
The acquisition is Wolter’s third announced so far in 2026, joining a July deal for Memphis-based Delta Materials Handling and an April buyout of CSI Materials Handling in suburban Chicago.
