Motion & Control Enterprises announced Friday that it has acquired a suburban Milwaukee distributor of engineered pumps and parts.
Salentine Pump & Equipment, located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, provides pumps and service to customers in Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota, including the general industrial market as well as the food & beverage, personal care and agricultural sectors.
Michael Salentine, who owned the company outright, will continue to lead the business under MCE. Additional details, including financial terms, were not disclosed.
“Salentine’s longstanding customer and supplier relationships are a perfect addition to our existing Wisconsin operations,” MCE Chairman and CEO Charles Hale said in a statement. “By combining forces, we are well-positioned to better serve the complex flow and fluid power requirements of our combined customer base."
“The combination of Salentine and MCE creates greater growth opportunities for our company, providing an exciting future for our suppliers, customers and employees,” Salentine added.
The transaction is MCE’s third acquisition so far this year; the company added Dallas-based TLR Hydraulics Inc. and South Florida’s Tripp Electric Motors this spring.
