The Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative announced Wednesday that one of its members, Jones Welding & Industrial Supply Inc., has opened a new store location in Tifton, GA. It will hold an open house there on Oct. 12.
The new branch, located at 1340 South Main Street, gives the company nine locations between Georgia and Florida. Jones is headquartered in Albany, GA and was founded in 1976.
According to its website, Jones Welding & Industrial Supply is family-owned and operated and is the largest independently-owned distributorship in Georgia. It carries a complete line of welding and industrial equipment, gases, steel, safety gear and other products.
