Box Bracket With Cable Support

Thomas & Betts (Memphis, TN) introduces its Steel City pre-frab box bracket with far-side and cable support. According to the company, it combines three component parts into one, simplifying installation and reducing inventory. Compatible with four-inch and 4 11/16-inch boxes, it can be either right or left-stud mounted. The built-in cable support secures the cable six inches above the box in compliance with NEC requirements. If the mud ring must be removed, the keyhole box-mounting slots keep the box in position. The design also provides clear access to knockouts once the box is installed if the installation of fittings is needed.
