Karen Witts to Step down as Non Executive Director
July 2, 2012 - The Board of Wolseley plc announces today that Karen Witts will be standing down with immediate effect as a Non-Executive Director of Wolseley plc following her appointment as Group Finance Director of Kingfisher plc.
Wolseley Chairman, Gareth Davis said: “On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Karen for her contribution and we wish her every success in her new role.”
Wolseley plc is a large specialist trade distributor of plumbing and heating products to professional contractors and a leading supplier of building materials in North America, the UK and Continental Europe. Group revenue for the year ended 31 July was ÂŁ13.6 billion and trading profit was ÂŁ622 million. Wolseley has around 40,000 employees, is listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: WOS) and is in the FTSE 100 index of listed companies.
