Hisco Names Bob Dill Chief Executive Officer

Dill has been president of Hisco since 2002 and will continue to hold that title as well.

Hisco (Houston, TX), an employee-owned, specialty distribution company, serving the electronic assembly, renewable energy, medical device and other industrial markets, announces the appointment of Bob Dill as Chief Executive Officer. Dill has been president of Hisco since 2002 and will continue to hold that title as well.

“Bob has done an outstanding job of leading Hisco, particularly in difficult times” says Jerry Damerow, chairman of Hisco’s Board of Directors. “Hisco emerged from the downturn bigger and better, with record growth. A lot of that can be attributed to the team building and the initiatives that he introduced."

“Bob is universally trusted and respected,” says Damerow. “He has built outstanding customer and vendor relationships and been an excellent team builder. Bob is a true leader; the board felt he deserves the recognition and it is important he has this title.”

Bob Dill joined the Hisco’s Anaheim branch in 1985 after graduating from Cal State-Fullerton. He was very active selling in San Diego and Mexico, building sales to the point where he opened a new branch in San Diego in 1994. He was the driving force behind HiscoMex, Hisco’s Mexico-based division, which is a significant growth engine for the company. Named executive vice-president in 1999, he became president in 2002.
