PHOENIX (AP) — Electronic parts distributor Avnet Inc. said Tuesday it has agreed to sell New ProSys Corp., a business that provides information technology infrastructure.
IT provider Applied Computer Solutions Inc. is buying the company for an undisclosed sum.
Avnet acquired New ProSys in July as a part of its $252 million deal for Bell Microproducts Inc. It described the division as a "non-core" asset that it had planned on selling.
ProSys has about 360 employees and generated revenue of $417.9 million in the 12 months ended June 30, Avnet said.
