Winsupply on Wednesday announced the addition of a new “local company” in Southwest Kansas.
Winsupply of Garden City was officially formed in June and opened its doors in September. The 11,000-square-foot facility, housed in a former semi-truck sales and repair shop, will serve the area’s industrial, plumbing and waterworks markets, the company said.
Tony Otero, the new subsidiary’s president, joined Winsupply in May and was mentored by KC Windustrial President Mathew Darby and Wichita Winsupply President Andrew Rhea. Otero, a nearly 30-year veteran of area wholesalers and contractors, was introduced to Winsupply’s “local company” model by Andy Wademan, Winsupply’s area leader.
“This company was brought into reality through one of our strongest recruiting tools: building relationships,” Winsupply Area Leader Dennis Murphy said in a statement. “Tony's persistence is what kept the idea of this new local company moving forward.”

The Garden City location is also staffed by Robert Dinkel, Caden Luna, Jairdan Shultz and Alex Solorzano.
Winsupply ranks at no. 3 on ID’s 2025 Big 50 list.
