West Texas pump supplier SIMFLO announced Tuesday that it has officially opened a new quality control center at its Lubbock headquarters, as well as completed upgrades at a pump testing facility in Arizona.

The company said that the new, 30,000-square-foot quality control facility will inspect all components that are not manufactured in-house by SIMFLO, including batch sampling, discharge head testing, weld and dimensional certification, weld and coating inspection, and new product assessments prior to performance testing. The site is expected to be “fully operational” within four to six weeks. It is led by SIMFLO Quality and Customer Support Director Lisa Leach.
