This February, over 300 AD independent distributors across six constructions and industrial supply industries and three countries will convene in Colorado for the second annual AD eCommerce Summit.
I sat down with AD's VP of eCommerce Solutions, Caroline Ernst, to talk about her experience working with AD Independents and why she believes this conference is important to attend.
RWN: Independents are super busy, so why should they take the time out to attend another meeting?
CE: The difference with this event compared to others is the content and the attendees. Only AD independent distributors will be in attendance and 100% of the Summit content, from the keynote speakers to the networking topics, was chosen by our members for our members.
RWN: Who should attend the event and what should they expect to gain?
CE: The person who will get the most out of this event is the eCommerce decision maker or the implementer at an AD member company. Topics will range from launching your eCommerce Store to your current buyers, to expanding your digital footprint through search and email to sharing best practices with others in the independent distribution industry.
RWN: The mission of AD eCommerce Solutions is to leverage AD’s scale and community to enable Members to achieve their eCommerce objectives and win in an evolving digital world. How do you believe the Summit will help fulfil this mission?
CE: The Summit’s agenda encompasses all areas of the eCommerce mission statement. For example, we will be providing one-on-one coaching sessions to help members achieve their specific eCommerce objectives. There will also be presentations from leading industry professionals, and plenty of networking opportunities to give our members the competitive advantage they need.
The 2018 AD eCommerce Summit will be held on Feb. 7-9 in Denver, CO at the Westin Denver International Airport. To view the agenda or RSVP login to AD's private website my.adhq.com or reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
