Affiliated Distributors said Friday that sales by its members jumped by 16% in the first quarter of the year.

The buying group said sales across all AD divisions and countries approached $28 billion in the first three months of the year. On a same-store basis, sales rose by 10%, paced by 13% jumps in AD’s U.S. electrical and PVF divisions.

“Our strong start to 2026 reflects growth across our divisions, driven by member expansion, increased engagement, and the successful integration of the Commonwealth Group,” AD Chairman and CEO Bill Weisberg said in a statement. “We look forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead.”

AD’s merger with the Commonwealth Group helped the group add 74 net members in the quarter. AD companies also acquired 14 external businesses and nine fellow AD members during the January-March window.
