White Cap announced Thursday that it has signed an agreement to acquire Colony Hardware, a distributor of tools and industrial supplies across the eastern and central U.S.
White Cap officials said that the Connecticut-based distributor would bolster its geographic footprint and service capabilities. The deal is expected to close “shortly” pending customary conditions; additional terms, including financial details, were not disclosed.
"White Cap and Colony Hardware share a culture built on service and long‑term relationships," White Cap CEO Alan Sollenberger said in a statement. "Once the transaction is closed, we will offer customers an even stronger suite of products, value‑added services and technical solutions.”
"Once combined, we will pair Colony's delivery and distribution capabilities with White Cap's complementary footprint and technical capabilities to provide even more convenience and value for our customers,” added Colony CEO Larry Stoddard.
