EAST LONGMEADOW, MA — LENOX, a global provider of performance tools for cutting solutions, recently launched its new Demolition CT Reciprocating Saw Blades and Bi-Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades with Power Blast Technology.
Engineered for fast performance, the new Demolition CT Reciprocating Saw Blades are carbide tipped for up to five times longer life than the equivalent 6 TPI bi-metal reciprocating saw blades in nail-embedded wood cutting applications. Each tooth is precision ground on multiple surfaces, creating optimum angles that allow the blade to cut through nails with ease.
The new Bi-Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades with Power Blast Technology are designed with a unique, high-speed blasting process to add strength and increase durability to the blade, allowing trade professionals to perform more cuts without stopping to change blades. The Power Blast process is commonly used in the aerospace and automotive industries to add a layer of compressive stress to the surface of the metal to prevent cracks. LENOX has used this process on its band saw blades for more than nine years for top quality performance.
Built to enhance durability, features of the new reciprocating saw blades include:
- Demolition CT Reciprocating Saw Blades: High-performance carbides are welded with the latest technology to increase durability and prevent tooth loss for longer blade life. The taller and thicker blade profile maximizes durability in tough demolition applications. Each tooth is precision ground on multiple surfaces to cut through nails with ease and engineered for fast performance.
- Bi-Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades: High-speed blasting along the cutting edge strengthens the blade to reduce breaks and increase durability and blade life. Patented T2 Technology reduces cutting forces on each tooth and optimizes chip removal to allow efficient cutting in a wide range of materials. The Bi-Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades come in four types including LAZER, Demolition, Wood Cutting and Metal Cutting.
LENOX Demolition CT Reciprocating Saw Blades and Bi-Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades with Power Blast Technology are available now at construction and industrial tool suppliers, home centers and hardware stores throughout the U.S., and Canada.
