Valley Cottage, NY – Pyro-Duct 597-C, a new silver-filled, high temperature, electrically and thermally conductive coating developed by Aremco Products, Inc., is now used to produce electronic and high vacuum components for applications to 1700 oF (927 oC). Pyro-Duct 597-C is an advanced high temperature coating formulated using a high purity silver flake with a D50 particle size of less than 20 microns. All constituents are electrically and thermally conductive and the volume resistivity of 0.0002 ohm-cm at room temperature is considerably better than conventional epoxybased conductive coatings that are formulated with non-conductive epoxy resins. Pyro-Duct 597-C is a single component system that adheres exceptionally well to both ceramic and glass substrates. It can be applied easily by brush, dipping or spray gun, and dries at room temperature in approximately one hour and cures fully in 30 minutes at 480 oF.
