Kaman Appoints Gregory T. Troy Senior VP - HR

Troy joins Kaman from Force Protection of Ladson, SC, a manufacturer and services company of military defense vehicles

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. - Kaman Corporation (NYSE: KAMN) today announced that Gregory T. Troy, has been appointed to the position of Senior Vice - Human Resources, reporting to Neal J. Keating, Chairman, President and CEO.

Troy joins Kaman from Force Protection of Ladson, SC, a manufacturer and services company of military defense vehicles. Force Protection had been a publicly traded company with revenues of more than $700 million and was recently acquired by General Dynamics. Mr. Troy was Force Protection's Chief Human Resources Officer, was an active member of the Executive Committee, and led their global human capital transformation and process improvement initiative. Prior to joining Force Protection he served as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Modine Manufacturing of Racine, WI, a NYSE listed global manufacturer of thermal management systems. Throughout his career Troy has served in a number of increasingly responsible human resource positions at companies including OMNOVA Solutions, Inc. of Fairlawn, OH; Bosch Corporation (formerly known as AlliedSignal Automotive Braking Systems-Americas Division, South Bend, IN); and Mobil Corporation - Plastics Division, Rochester NY.

Troy received his Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the University of San Francisco. He served in the United States Army from 1979 to 1986 as a transportation officer in the United States and Europe, attaining the rank of Captain. Greg and his wife, Barbara, plan to relocate to Connecticut from the Charleston, SC area later this year.

Troy succeeds the retiring Lowell J. Hill, Senior Vice President - Human Resources, capping a lengthy and distinguished career in human resources. Hill has served as Kaman's Chief Human Resources officer since 2001.
