Motion & Flow Control Products Inc. announced Wednesday that it has acquired CSC, a central California distributor of industrial and agricultural hydraulic products.

Colorado-based MFCP — the no. 39 distributor on ID’s latest Big 50 list — said that the addition of CSC would bolster its presence on the West Coast. The Salinas, California-based company operates seven locations serving growers, contractors, equipment operators and manufacturers both in California’s Central Coast and in Arizona’s Yuma Valley.

MFCP said that it plans to continue operating CSC's existing facilities, which will gain access to a “broader product portfolio, engineering resources and supply chain capabilities.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"For more than three decades, CSC has built its business around taking care of customers and supporting local communities," MFCP CEO Ross Surratt said in a statement. "Their strong presence in agriculture, commitment to service and experienced team make CSC a natural fit for MFCP."
