White Cap announced Tuesday that it has reached an agreement to acquire Texas distributor Ace Contractors Supply.
Ace provides concrete accessories, rebar, safety supplies, consumable products and other construction supplies to contractors throughout Central Texas. The addition of the Austin company, White Cap officials said, would expand its product line and presence in “one of the nation’s fastest-growing construction markets.”
"Ace Contractors Supply has earned the trust of contractors throughout Central Texas by delivering exceptional service and deep local expertise," White Cap CEO Alan Sollenberger said in a statement.
"Joining White Cap creates new opportunities for our employees and customers while preserving the values and service commitment that have defined our business," added Ace owner Jerry Haverda. "Together, we will be even better positioned to support our customers across Central Texas and beyond."
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition would be just the latest in the Austin area for White Cap, which added Kris-Con Supply & Fasteners and RSS last year. The company has also acquired Beaver's Source of Laredo, Texas, and Concrete Systems, a New Mexico company with a location in El Paso, over the past year.
