RBC Bearings announced Monday that its Dodge Industrial subsidiary has acquired PSC Couplings, a suburban Milwaukee manufacturer of disc coupling solutions, in a $24.2 million deal.

Dodge officials said that the Richfield, Wisconsin-based company represents “a significant investment in the growth of the Dodge coupling business.” PSC, the company said, would add engineering and manufacturing expertise, as well as a strong reputation in gas compression applications and a growing presence in power generation, data center infrastructure and “other demanding industrial environments.”

PSC had net sales of about $15.1 million over “the last 12 months,” RBC officials said.

"PSC is a great company with real momentum, and this is a natural fit for where we want to take our coupling business," Dodge Industrial President David Gilbert said in a statement.

“Partnering with Dodge gives us access to a well-respected sales force and market reach that will allow us to bring our products to even more customers and applications,” added PSC President Dave Olson.
