Marengo, IL – May 2012 – Nissan Forklift Corporation announced its Pinnacle Award winner for 2012. Wayne Petty of Western Carolina Forklift joins other top sales professionals who have been honored with Pinnacle Awards.

Petty is the senior territory manager at Western Carolina Forklift, located in Greensboro, North Carolina. He joined the company in 2003 and was nominated for the Pinnacle Award for his excellent customer service, smart use of Nissan Forklift sales tools and team-oriented attitude.

“Much of his success is due to his superior dedication to and support of his customers,” said David Hayes, CEO of Western Carolina Forklift. “Wayne has put together a very loyal customer base because of his honesty, integrity and reliability.”

Nissan Forklift’s Pinnacle Awards were created in 1994 to honor the top sales representatives who have exhibited a consistently high level of sales performance and professionalism. The Pinnacle Award is the highest recognition that Nissan Forklift can bestow upon an individual.

Dealer principals must nominate individuals for the Pinnacle Awards. A Pinnacle selection committee chooses the winner based on the nominee’s sales accomplishments, territory dominance and contribution to the success of the dealership and Nissan Forklift Corporation.

“Wayne Petty exhibits the qualities that Nissan Forklift wants to present to its customers,” said James J. Radous III, vice president, sales and marketing, Nissan Forklift. “His dedication and contributions are greatly appreciated at Nissan Forklift and we’re proud to acknowledge him with this Pinnacle Award.”
