WINSON-SALEM, NC -- Inmar, a reverse logistics service provider, recently announced that it has been named a 2010 top supply chain innovator by Supply and Demand Chain Executive Magazine

The selection recognizes companies delivering solutions that position clients for post-recessionary return to growth. This is the second consecutive year that Inmar made the listing.

According to the publication’s editors, the Top 100 identifies leading providers of supply chain services and technologies who are helping clients achieve supply chain excellence. Inmar has released four major reverse logistics technology enhancements in two years, and has invested heavily in facility renovations and processes that move product faster, speed trading partner reconciliation and support environmental sustainability.

“Manufacturers and retailers alike will emerge from this downturn into a “new normal” that will continue to present challenges surrounding inventory management, profitability and the environment,” said David Mounts, CEO of Inmar. “We have reached a point at which collaborative efforts between trading partners and access to data will be essential for profitability in coming years,” continued Mounts. “It is rewarding to offer solutions that facilitate such efforts and to be recognized again this year as a solution innovator by Supply and Demand Chain Executive.”

Findings from this year’s “100” process is scheduled to be published in the June/July 2010 issue of Supply and Demand Chain Executive.
