Kimball Midwest announced Thursday that it was among three finalists for this year’s B2B E-Commerce Association awards.
Company officials noted that the recognition follows a sweeping transformation of its website over the past eight years, during which time it shifted from “a supplemental ordering tool for customers between sales rep visits” to an e-commerce offering with modernized product selectors, shopping carts and checkout processes, among other features.
Kimball Midwest officials added that a recent audit identified more than 40 additional "high-priority" projects for its e-commerce platform over the next five years — “ensuring the company’s e-commerce platform will continue to exceed industry standards.”
“I’m proud of the collective efforts from our marketing and IT teams along with the support and investment from our senior leadership, sales team and the rest of the Kimball Midwest team,” Jeff Reichert, the company’s director of e-commerce and integrated marketing, said in a statement. “We’ve made significant progress in our transformation journey, and I look forward to additional features being added over the next five to 10 years.”
The Ohio-based company ranks at no. 30 on ID’s 2025 Big 50 list.
