Amazon said Tuesday that its Amazon Business B2B purchasing platform reached the $60 billion mark in annualized gross sales in the second quarter of the year.
That amount would represent a more than 70% increase over Amazon Business’ previous disclosure of $35 billion in annual sales last summer.
Amazon Business launched in the U.S. in 2015 as a successor to AmazonSupply; it now operates in 11 countries and counts over 11 million organizations as its customers, including “hundreds of thousands” of small businesses and 97 of the companies on the Fortune 100 list, the e-commerce giant said.
In addition, Amazon said that it made more than 500,000 Amazon Business deliveries last year, and that the platform's dedicated truck fleet announced in October is rolling out in 13 states in the U.S.
Amazon Business also has 30% more products than last year — officials highlighted repair tools and office furniture among the categories seeing particularly “strong selection growth” — while buyers saved over $1 billion in platform-specific discounts. Members of Prime Business also saved over $800 million in shipping fees in 2025, the company said.
“As organizations look to do more with less, we’re inventing new ways to help them save time and money, and reinvest in growing their business,” Shelley Salomon, Amazon Business’ worldwide vice president, said in a statement.
