Winsupply announced Tuesday that it recently added a new “local company” in the San Fernando Valley north of Los Angeles.
Winsupply Burbank CA Co., known as Winsupply of Burbank, officially opened in mid-October. The company’s 12,000-square-foot facility in North Hollywood — and its staff of 10 — will serve residential and commercial plumbing customers in the area.
Winsupply of Burbank President Sammy Tulbendzhyan, who spent more than two decades at Hydraulic Industrial Plumbing Supply, Ferguson Enterprise and Express Plumbing Supply, joined Winsupply of Los Angeles last spring before starting the new local company. Under Winsupply’s “Family of Companies” model, the industrial and construction distributor partners with the local owners of Winsupply locations.
The Burbank location is the fourth Winsupply local company either opened or sponsored in the past five years by Winsupply of Los Angeles President Fatah Nazari.
“The Winsupply business model with local ownership and local decision-making is better for customers in every market,” Kyle Buxton, Winsupply’s area leader in Los Angeles, said in a statement. “Sammy has been serving customers in this market for years. As the president of Burbank Winsupply, he is now able to serve his customers as only a decision-maker and owner can.”
Buxton added that preparations are also underway for “many” other new Winsupply local companies in the Los Angeles area.
