San Francisco, CA – WayPart, Inc. has released version 2.0 of their Industrial Parts Search Engine. Distributors can now use WayPart’s “Instant Listing” tool to list their parts to connect with the 40,000+ monthly buyers who use the WayPart Marketplace. WayPart’s analytics give insight into buyer tendencies, pricing data and more. Distributors can now use a live demo of CrossPart, a tool that helps sales teams view alternate parts (same form, fit and function) as the originally searched for part. WayPart’s proprietary search engine algorithm was also updated to reflect the majority of searches done via part number in the marketplace. The update includes “fuzzy search” enhancement, helping buyers who mistype part numbers to find the correct part. WayPart has now amassed over 28 million parts from 72 distributors, with a buyer conversion rate of 18%, says the company.
