PRC Industrial Supply commemorated its 130th year in business this month, company officials announced.
The distributor, which began serving Maine’s industrial and marine sectors in 1895, today provides hose, conveyor belting and fluid power solutions to a range of industries across New England, including manufacturing, construction, marine, food processing, and paper and pulp. It also provides custom hose assembly, conveyor belt installation and gasket fabrication services.
Singer Industrial — no. 28 on ID’s 2025 Big 50 list — acquired the company in 2006.
“Reaching 130 years is an incredible milestone that reflects the dedication of our employees and the loyalty of our customers,” PRC General Manager Rob Talbot said in a statement. “We take great pride in our history, but even greater pride in how we’ve continued to innovate and adapt to meet the changing needs of industry over more than a century.”
