It was a farewell to social media as two-hundred and seventy-five IDC Owner-Distributors, Preferred Suppliers, and special guests opted for some quality face-to-face networking and idea sharing at the 2014 IDC Product Forum. This product-focused business meeting was an ideal platform for shareholders to learn how to sell the products available through IDC-USA. Attendees gathered at a secluded hotel where they spent two and a half strategically planned days together. All meetings and events from the golf tournament and joint meals to supplier sponsored hospitality suites were designed with elbow rubbing in mind.
According to Mike McLain of Allied Bearing & Supply, "The IDC Product Forum allows you to meet and discuss with people of similar business practices (some larger, some smaller). You get different views and ideas from all around the country from companies that face the same challenges. It can be your sounding board, your help, and your network.”
The event commenced on Tuesday, May 13, with the 4th annual IDC Charitable Trust Golf Outing where distributors and suppliers scrambled for a good cause. The charity provides financial assistance to charitable and educational needs, including scholarships to children of IDC Owner-Distributors. The business portion began the following day, where suppliers provided in-depth product and program information through breakout sessions. Jack L. Bailey, president and CEO of IDC-USA, was the master of ceremonies at the Awards Dinner where IDC-USA honored scholarship recipients as well as those companies who earned bragging rights with 2013 awards.

The IDC Preferred Supplier Tradeshow, the highlight of the event, was held that afternoon. The spacious location was ideal for meaningful conversation between attendees. It was another successful shareholders meeting of networking, collaboration, and learning how to grow sales.
“Our focus was providing attendees with as many networking opportunities as we could fit into the span of two and a half days while providing IDC Owner-Distributors and Suppliers with tools to be more successful in their business.” said Jack Bailey, president and CEO of IDC-USA
