SouthernCarlson Acquires Fastening Distributor River City Building Supply

Omaha, NE-based SouthernCarlson enhances its West Coast footprint by adding a fastening and construction supplies distributor with four California locations.

OMAHA, NE — Fastening and packaging distributor SouthernCarlson has announced the addition of Sacramento, CA-based River City Building Supply, Inc. The acquisition was finalized on March 31, expanding the organization’s Northern California footprint and service capabilities.

With other California locations in Modesto, Livermore and San Jose, River City Building Supply is a distributor of fasteners, fastening equipment and other critical construction supplies featuring brands such as Simpson Strong-Tie, Paslode, Hitachi, DeWalt, Makita, Senco, Hitachi, Rolair, Grabber, Klein Dayton Superior and many others.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Like SouthernCarlson, River City shares the same core values and commitments to its employees and customers.
