Air Systems International (Chesapeake, VA) introduced the first Breather Box, the BB50-CO, portable Grade-D breathing air filtration system in 1984. The BB50-CO has been a state-of-the-art solution for breathing air filtration for over 40 years.
After working with a world-renowned filter manufacturer, the company says it was able to remove even more moisture than the old BB50 filters, adding additional life to all three filters. With the new filter system, Air Systems will launch the brand new BB60-CO at the same cost as the current BB50-CO.
The BB60-CO has improved filter life, processes more air, and is easier to service (no more banged up knuckles!) Additional highlights include:
- BB60-CO designed to fit in the existing BB50-CO case.
- Increased filtration capacity in excess of 60 cfm with auto drains in the first two filters.
- Filtration removes particulates at 99.9999% and oil removal efficiency at 99.8%.
- Filters have a compact design with higher performance utilizing metal and polymers.
- Each filter uses a polymer bowl locking system (no metal bowl guard like the old filter system).
- The new filters operate down to 23 degrees F (-5ºC) and up to 140 degrees F (60ºC).
