SureWerx announced Friday that it has acquired an Italian provider of safety solutions in a bid to expand its fall protection platform across two continents.
SureWerx officials said that Genesi offers work-at-height and confined space systems, including fall protection, horizontal and vertical lifelines, anchor points, guardrails, ladders and other access solutions.
The safety, PPE and tool supplier said that the deal would bolster its safety offerings both in Europe and in North America.
“Genesi brings market-leading expertise in confined space entry, rescue and fall protection systems,” SureWerx CEO Scott Dowell said in the announcement. “Together with Fall Safe’s trusted portfolio of harnesses, SRLs, lanyards and anchors, this acquisition strengthens our ability to deliver a more complete, integrated range of high-performance fall protection solutions across multiple segments and geographies.”
“SureWerx’s global reach, strong channel partnerships, and deep fall protection expertise will help accelerate Genesi’s growth in Europe and beyond while advancing our shared mission to make high-risk work safer,” added Simone Cornali, the company’s founder.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
