Lubricant distributor RelaDyne has acquired a Missouri counterpart that will help bolster its operations in the Midwest, company officials announced Thursday.

RelaDyne Chief Strategy Officer David Schumacher said that Chart Distribution Group, a St. Louis regional distributor of lubricants, detailing products and related automotive supplies, represented “an important addition to RelaDyne’s Midwest growth strategy.”

“As we bring our teams together, we look forward to expanding the resources, capabilities and support available to Chart’s customers while continuing to build on the service they have come to expect,” RelaDyne CEO Eric Royse added in the announcement.

Chart President Frank Palazzo, meanwhile, called the combination “a perfect fit” that would allow the company to build on its current relationships and access “expanded resources, product offerings and support.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
