DXP Enterprises announced Wednesday that it has acquired Ambiente H2O Inc., a manufacturer representative located in suburban Denver.
Ambiente, established in 2006, specializes in pumps, process equipment, instrumentation, and service and repair operations in the water and wastewater industry. The company operates two more locations in addition to its Sheridan, Colorado, headquarters, and serves the Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho and Montana markets.
“Ambiente adds another great company to our water and wastewater platform that includes the many pieces we look for when acquiring a water business,” DXP CEO David Little said in a statement. “Ambiente provides DXP with an exceptional business that leads with service, accompanied by tremendous technical sales expertise.”
DXP said that it paid for the deal with cash from its balance sheet; financial terms were not disclosed. Officials said that Ambiente posted sales of about $8.1 million in the 2025 calendar year.
The deal is the Houston company’s third so far in 2026.
DXP ranks at no. 17 on ID’s latest Big 50.
