Wisconsin hose, rubber and hydraulic filtration distributor Value Added Distributors announced Wednesday that it has acquired fellow Badger State company L.T.L. Supply.
Green Bay-based LTL, a manufacturer and distributor of wire harnesses and electrical assemblies, expands Shawano-based VAD into an adjacent, complementary product category, officials said, as well as adds new manufacturing capabilities and bolsters its offering of electrical solutions.
“LTL has built an impressive business centered on quality, responsiveness and long-term customer relationships,” VAD CEO Mike Kostelnik said in the announcement. “The company fits directly within our platform strategy and enhances our ability to support OEMs with a broader range of engineered components and services.”
LTL management will remain in place to “ensure continuity and support future growth,” officials added. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Our family is proud of the company we have built and the long-standing relationships we have developed,” said LTL President Kathy Suring. “Joining VAD creates an opportunity to expand what we can offer while maintaining the values that have guided our business.”
The deal is VAD’s first since private equity firm Rotunda Capital Partners announced an investment in the business early this year. Rotunda officials said that the company intends to continue its M&A efforts in additional product categories, including “filtration, gaskets, AC assemblies, wire harness and motion control systems.”
