Solve Industrial Motion Group announced Monday that it has acquired power drive belt supplier D&D Global.
The company, headquartered in Iowa with additional locations in Georgia, North Texas and Phoenix, is a vertically integrated manufacturer specializing in V-belts and timing belts. Solve officials said that it offers more than 35,000 belt configurations.
Solve CEO Ernie Lauber said that the transaction completes “a series of acquisitions for 2025 that positions Solve as the premiere provider of the full drive train solution." The company acquired New Jersey power transmission supplier Power Rite Products, Indiana component supplier B&B Manufacturing and Ohio conveyor bearings manufacturer Miller Bearing Company in October.
Terms of the latest deal were not disclosed.
"The D&D acquisition expands Solve's rapidly growing manufacturing capabilities," Lauber said in the announcement. "D&D's belts are some of the most high performing in the industry, and I'm excited they are now part of the Solve family."
"Solve's platform is the perfect place to continue the growth of D&D,” added D&D COO Barry Emmelkamp.
