DXP Enterprises announced Wednesday that it has acquired Texas pump distributor Pump Solutions.
Pump Solutions provides pumps, controls and related service and repair operations primarily to the water and wastewater industries. The company, headquartered in suburban Houston, also has locations near San Antonio, Austin and Fort Worth.
"Pump Solutions' expertise and strategic presence in Texas will complement DXP's breadth of technical products and services,” DXP President and CEO David Little said in a statement. “This transaction will not only allow us to continue with our existing marketing strategies, but also provides notable talent as we continue to find resources to serve our customers better.”
The companies signed a definitive agreement on the transaction on Monday, and DXP said that the deal was paid for with cash from its balance sheet. Additional terms, including financial details, were not disclosed.
DXP estimated Pump Solutions’ sales for the 12 months ending in September at $36.8 million.
The deal was the fifth announced by DXP in 2025, and CFO Kent Yee said that it represents its 15th acquisition under “our DXP Water efforts.”
Houston-based DXP ranks at no. 17 on ID’s 2025 Big 50 list.
