A Belgian fastener supplier announced this month that it has acquired a counterpart in the neighboring Netherlands.

Pgb-Europe said that the addition of GebuVolco would bolster its product lineup and its customization capabilities. GebuVolco is a distributor and manufacturer of fasteners, clamps and brackets, including the Silvermate and QZ fastener brands. It also holds “a leading position” in the Dutch private-label market, Pgb-Europe officials said.

GebuVolco will continue to operate as an independent business within the Pgb-Holding group. Additional details, including financial terms, were not disclosed.

“This step fits perfectly within pgb-Holding’s growth strategy to strengthen its position in the European market and to create sustainable value for its customers, employees and partners,” Pgb-Holding CEO Frederik Pennoit and Gebu Holding owner Dirk de Pijper wrote in a joint statement.
