A private equity firm and manufacturing group in western Pennsylvania on Wednesday announced the formation of a new industrial supply business that will officially launch next year.

Tecum Equity Alpha Management and the Armstrong Group of Companies combined Huston Group and Gallaway Safety & Supply into the new entity, known — for now — as SupplyCo. The platform will get a new name and brand in early 2026, officials said.

The new business will provide solutions and service for industrial and field service applications, Tecum and Armstrong officials said, with a goal of providing “a complete line card of solutions backed by market-leading technical service expertise.” Huston and Gallaway, they added, each bring unique and complementary expertise to the platform.

The management and staff of both Huston and Gallaway will remain with the new business.

“We believe in the long-term outlook of domestic manufacturing and recognize the value SupplyCo brings to operators in this market,” Armstrong CEO Dru Sedwick said in a statement. “We are excited to partner with the management team in furthering the mission of being the supplier partner, employer and acquirer of choice in the industrial supply market.”
