Ingersoll Rand has acquired a global supplier of ejector solutions and other process technologies, company officials announced last week.
Transvac Systems Ltd., based in Alfreton, England, provides solutions to “move, mix and compress fluids and gases,” the company said, and would bolster Ingersoll Rand’s overall lineup of engineered solutions. Transvac’s systems are particularly used to eradicate waste gas flaring, and are increasingly deployed in desalination and water reuse efforts.
Transvac will join IR’s Industrial Technologies and Services segment. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This acquisition expands our portfolio with innovative technology that complements our existing solutions and opens new opportunities in sustainability-driven markets,” Ingersoll Rand Chairman and CEO Vicente Reynal said in a statement.
Ingersoll Rand also reported improved revenue and earnings for the third quarter of the year last week.
