VP Supply Acquires 133-year-old NY Distributor J.E. Sawyer

Rochester, NY-based VP Supply, a distributor of plumbing, HVAC, kitchen and bath, industrial and contractor supplies, has acquired fellow Glens Falls, NY distributor J.E. Sawyer & Co. for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 1883, J.E. Sawyer is now a division of VP Supply, providing VP's similar offering of plumbing, heating, kitchen, bath, and industrial supplies. J.E. Sawyer had 23 employees when it was acquired mid-December.

VP Supply serves both contractors and residential customers through its 15 branch locations and showrooms in New York and Pennsylvania.
