Air Products To Raise Prices Due To Rising Material Costs

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. (AP) — Air Products and Chemicals Inc. said Monday that it will hike prices for a range of chemicals it makes for industrial use on April 4, or as contracts allow, to compensate for escalating raw material costs. It said the price for its Tomamine surfactant, TomadryT surfactant and TomadyneT surfactant will go up by 5 cents per pound.

It said the price for its Tomamine surfactant, TomadryT surfactant and TomadyneT surfactant will go up by 5 cents per pound. Its Tomadol surfactant, Nonidet surfactant and Nonatell surfactant will go up by 4 cents per pound.

Air Products shares fell $1.66, or 1.8 percent, to $89.58 in afternoon trade Monday.
