Sonepar has trained 94 of its associates in at least one module of its Sonepar Lighting Academy program, the company said Tuesday.
The electrical distributor made the announcement following the closing of the program’s first module for 2026.

Acuity Brands, a partner of the program, contributed subject matter experts, e-learning resources and its Visual Lighting design software to the academy, Sonepar officials noted, as well as co-hosted an in-person training event in May at its Experience Center in Chicago.
“As lighting technology continues to advance, customers increasingly rely on partners who can provide more than products,” Bob Preston, lighting solutions specialist at Sonepar subsidiary Capital Electric, said in a statement. “They need guidance, expertise and solutions tailored to their projects.”
