Affiliated Distributors Q2 Sales Grew 8 Percent

Affiliated Distributors shared their second quarter sales earnings, showing growth in all divisions.

WAYNE, PA — Affiliated Distributors (AD), the largest industrial and construction products buying and marketing group in North America,  reported 8 percent growth across all AD Divisions in the second quarter. Total sales for the first half of the year were $15 Billion.

By Division, AD Member second quarter sales grew as follows: Electrical up 6 percent; Industrial up 8 percent; Plumbing/PVF up 9 percent; HVAC up 11 percent; and Building Materials up 18 percent. 

"The second quarter showed an impressive rebound from a first quarter that was strongly impacted by weather,” stated Bill Weisberg, AD’s Chairman and CEO. “The determination and creativity demonstrated by our Independent Members and our strong Supplier Partners is inspiring.” 

Doing their part for the economy, in Q2, AD Members hired 2,203 new employees, opened 89 new locations and made three acquisitions.
