Educational, interactive workshops transform resellers into resources
Deerfield, IL - Sales of cleaning and breakroom products to businesses continue to grow, and United Stationers is arming its resellers with the tools to win in these important categories. Throughout the remainder of 2014, United Stationers will host several Cleaning & Breakroom Sales Boot Camp and Supplier Summits. This series of two-and-a-half day events taking place in various locations around the country is aimed at helping resellers capture new sales growth in the JanSan category.
Each boot camp features demonstrations, presentations and interactive workshops for attendees to master the industry's latest selling techniques. In addition, a supplier summit will help to connect resellers with key suppliers and peer allies, fostering strong relationships across the industry. Upon completion of the workshop, attendees will become certified as cleaning and breakroom specialists, signifying the valuable experience and knowledge they gained through the training.
As a part of the workshops, participants will learn how to:
- Maximize sales with existing customers
- Understand total customer and market potential
- Increase revenue and retention
- Apply solution-selling techniques
"Many resellers who have attended the United Boot Camp in the past have experienced double-digit sales growth in the JanSan and breakroom categories," said Barbara D'Ugo, Marketing Manager at United Stationers. "These workshops not only provide attendees with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed, but also give them the chance to network with and learn from key industry experts and peers - a benefit that has proved invaluable to many independent resellers."
The boot camp is open to owners, principals, sales managers and sales representatives interested in learning more about the cleaning and breakroom category. Breakout sessions cover the details of selling a variety of category products, including towels, tissues, can liners, cleaning chemicals, single-serve coffee service and more.
