Agile Network’s AgileShip Shipment Management System Achieves Oracle Validated Integration with the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1
Agile Network, a Gold-Level member of Oracle® PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced its AgileShip Shipment Management System has achieved Oracle Validated Integration (OVI) with the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.
AgileShip provides a full-featured, validated shipping solution for Oracle E-Business Suite applications, including Order Management System, Warehouse Management System, E-Commerce, CRM, and ERP.
Designed to optimize fulfi llment operations and reduce transportation spend, AgileShip automates the entire shipping process from pack verifi cation through weighing, rating, routing, labeling and execution. To optimize carrier selection and service levels, the solution is integrated with FedEx, UPS, DHL, and a certifi ed network of more than 5,000 North American and international freight and parcel carriers. To streamline operations, AgileShip is also integrated with a variety of shipping services, including TMS, 3PL, audit & payment, supply chain visibility, vendor compliance, export compliance and insurance. The solution includes a complete suite of management tools and reports to analyze carrier performance, optimize transportation planning and reduce expenditures.
Agile Network’s Oracle Validated Integration employs Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g to integrate AgileShip with the Oracle E-Business Suite. Scalable, service oriented architecture and redundant processing help ensure continuous operation across large enterprise deployments with multiple distribution centers. In single server benchmark testing, AgileShip is capable of handling a minimum of 60,000 shipments per hour. To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. AgileShip Shipment Management System meets these needs with out-of-the-box functionality; complete data safety and security, and a fully customized interface. Built on Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g, AgileShip integrates with the Oracle e-Business Suite 12.1 to act as a plug and play. All events and activities across a service-oriented architecture are correlated, with applications interacting in harmony with one another.
