Minneapolis, MN — Insite Software, a leading provider of B2B eCommerce platforms and shipping solutions approaching 1,000 customers worldwide, announced that it is strengthening its strategic alliance with Sitecore, the global leader in customer experience management software, by improving integration competencies with Sitecore’s experience platform.
These improvements include Insite’s support for Sitecore 7.0, announced in November 2013, which allows Sitecore customers to manage customer web experiences and eCommerce sites from within the Sitecore 7.0 toolset. It also includes a new integration project that is currently under development: OBEC (out-of-the-box engagement for commerce). With OBEC, the goal is to make Sitecore integration with commerce systems as easy as possible and provide users with an exceptional customer experience.
Insite Software’s strategic alliance with Sitecore is focused on delivering better customer experiences and engagement primarily for enterprise B2B manufacturers and distributors. The partnership combines two best-in-class strategic customer experience management software and execution systems, which allow enterprise companies to effectively manage web and e-commerce experiences in the same environment. In addition, the collaboration significantly reduces web development costs and lowers cost of ownership over the life of a site.
“Insite Software is a valued, mature and strategic member of our growing ecommerce ecosystem, and we’re happy to strengthen the offering to our customers with this powerful combination of compelling digital experiences with advanced B2B, customer-specific selling and order acquisition, and fulfillment functionality,” said Amar Patel, Senior Technology Partner Manager at Sitecore.
“This continued partnership of Sitecore’s experience platform with Insite Commerce, the Enterprise B2B e-commerce platform of choice, offers the best of both worlds for manufacturers and distributors,” said Brian Strojny, Co-Founder and Board Member at Insite Software. “And enhancing integration capabilities between the two platforms further strengthens that partnership.”
