The second company on the 2026 edition of the ID “Watch List” began as a “nail and staple STAFDA house” in the late 1990s before shifting to commercial construction a decade later.

Today, CFC Supply says it provides tools, fasteners, safety products and accessories — along with technical expertise, engineering services and job site support — to contractors across the western U.S. It is also in its second generation of ownership, and operates a pair of branches in the Salt Lake City suburbs.

Company commentary: Blake Larsen is the second-generation owner of CFC Supply. CFC’s humble beginnings in 1998 started out as a nail and staple STAFDA house. In 2008, the business transitioned to commercial construction with a focus on MEP customers. CFC has earned a reputation for dependable service and delivering exceptional value to contractors across the western United States. CFC offers a comprehensive range of tools, fasteners, accessories and safety products, complemented by engineering services, job site support, technical expertise and a robust inventory.

Recent company news: After 13 years with Sphere1 COOP and five years with Evergreen Supply Network, in 2026, CFC joined AD’s Industrial and Safety division. With affiliate associations in the electrical and plumbing verticals, we look to greatly expand our offering to the MEP customers that make up a significant portion of our customer base.
