Meritus Gas Partners subsidiary Buckeye Welding Supply has acquired fellow Centennial State distributor HICO Distributing of Colorado, the industrial and specialty gases distribution group said Wednesday.

HICO, a provider of helium products across the state, will bolster Buckeye’s service and supply capabilities across the area, Meritus officials said. HICO’s Englewood location will become Buckeye’s fourth in Colorado and second in the Denver suburbs.

HICO founders Wyatt and Vanessa Wilkinson, company officials said, would continue as “valued partners in the Meritus family.” Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
