Winsupply announced Monday that it has acquired an HVAC wholesale distributor in Northeast Wisconsin that will become its latest “local company.”
Winsupply Inc. said that Central Corp. will transition to Winsupply of Appleton effective Monday.
Co-owners Jim Trunk and John Geurts, who purchased the business from their father-in-law more than 30 years ago, will remain in outside sales roles at the company, and Cory Pelisek, an outside sales rep at Janesville Winsupply Co. in southern Wisconsin, will become president of the business. Pelisek and the staff will also become minority stakeholders under Winsupply’s “local company” model.
Pelisek said that he plans to add more product lines to the company’s current HVAC lineup, including plumbing, electrical and hydronics offerings.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This acquisition will accelerate Winsupply's HVAC growth in the Wisconsin market,” Winsupply Inc. President Jeff Dice said in the announcement. “This will also expand and strengthen our capacity with American Standard and Trane HVAC equipment.”
“As the company adds new product lines and grows in sales, we are excited that our employees will have opportunities to learn about the new products and have chances for advancement within the company,” Geurts added in the statement.
