FloWorks International has acquired filtration products distributor Cranford Equipment Co., company officials announced.

The flow control product distributor said that CEC, based in Kenner, Louisiana, would bolster its industrial filtration presence and offer its core customer base “more complete solutions.”

“Bart [Cranford] and his team have built an exceptional business, and we are excited to add CEC to the FloWorks platform,” FloWorks CEO Scott Jackson said in the announcement.

“We are excited to partner with FloWorks to expand CEC’s reach and accelerate our growth initiatives,” added Cranford.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The transaction is FloWorks’ seventh since it was acquired by private equity firm Wynnchurch Capital in early 2023. The business previously added West Texas valve and automation distributor Slater Controls in October.
