Industrial Supply Company, of Salt Lake City, recently announced that Paxton Production Tools has completed a physical shift. The distributor of cutting tools was acquired by Industrial Supply Company in November and moved to set up operations at their new parent company's main location. The move was completed on March 1, with Pacton Production Tools formally set to re-open for business the following Monday, March 4.

"This is an exciting time for both companies, and we look forward to the many opportunities that this acquisition offers our customers," says Bob Paxton, an executive with Paxton Production Tools. "We hope our customers will look for us at our new location, with the inventory, products, and personal service they have been used to. In addition, we will now have the ability to provide additional services and products that we know our customers have been asking for. We're confident we will be in great hands with Industrial Supply."

At the time of the acquisition, Industrial Supply Company leadership emphasized the same continuity and enhanced benefits for Paxton Production Tools customers.

"We will carry on the goodwill of Paxton and are excited to see the growth and opportunities that come from this as we seek to make continuous improvements and ensure our customers are satisfied," said Phil Thompson, chairman of Industrial Supply.

Industrial Supply Company has been in business in Utah since 1916, and Paxton Production Tools has served the Utah area since 1956.
